The patient Mrs. Mukkidipalli Soni, a 29 year house wife from Yerrampalem village (74 Kms. from Kakinada city), Gokavaram Mandalam,  E.G. Dist. (A.P). Her family consists of three members. Her husband Mr. Raju, a daily labour and a son of 13 yrs. old. They are financially very poor as there Is only one earning member. Mrs. Soni does not go out for labour work as she has got fits problem since 3-4 yrs. she has been taking treatment for fits since then.
One day while Soni was preparing lunch for her family, she got fits and suddenly in an unconscious state, she put one of her hand in the pot of hot boiling rice and stirred it. As a result she got her hand burned up to her wrist. She
was rushed to Kakinada Govt. hospital, and after the initial first aid and treatment, it was noticed that her fingers got shortened due to burning. Doctors at the govt.
hospital advised them to go for a surgery to get her fingers to the normal size. The cost of surgery for one finger is around 5000/- and thus it costs around 25000/- for the surgery of her all five five fingers.
Since they cannot offer the surgery at private hospitals as it costs more than 5000/- per finger, the family are prepared to get the surgery done at the Govt.  hospital in Kakinada and thus approached our Volunteers for financial help to get
her fingers to the normal position.
